Dr Sharma completed her specialist ophthalmology training at Prince of Wales Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospital. She has worked in ophthalmology for over 20 years and has performed thousands of eye procedures during her career. She held the prestigious Professorial Senior Registrar role at Sydney Eye Hospital and has worked as a consultant at both Sydney Eye Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Dr Sharma completed postgraduate fellowships in strabismus at The Western Eye Hospital in London and at Moorfields Eye Hospital, the largest specialist eye hospital in Europe. She has also led medical retina clinics and performed intravitreal injections at Moorfields.
