What is Syfovre Treatment?

Syfovre (pegcetacoplan) is a treatment designed to slow progression of geographic atrophy caused by macular degeneration.

Syfovre blocks part of the immune system called the complement pathway, which contributes to retinal inflammation.

Syfovre is administered as an intravitreal injection.

Treatment usually involves injections approximately every 6–8 weeks with ongoing retinal monitoring.
