Find out how this innovative treatment may help slow the progression of geographic atrophy and protect everyday sight

Syfovre (pegcetacoplan) is a treatment designed to slow progression of geographic atrophy caused by macular degeneration.  It works by blocking part of the complement pathway
involved in retinal inflammation.

Syfovre blocks part of the immune system called the complement pathway, which contributes to retinal inflammation and degeneration.

Syfovre is administered as an intravitreal injection.

Treatment usually involves:

  • injections every 8 weeks
  • retinal imaging monitoring
  • regular follow-up appointments
